Article Abstract
To meet the watermark configuration needs of the Chevereto image management platform, the custom watermark function is achieved by configuring the Watermarks option in the Image upload module through the admin dashboard. Operations include enabling the watermark switch, setting the applicable user scope, and adjusting parameters such as watermark position (9 options available), area percentage (default 4%), margin (recommended 35 pixels), and opacity. In practical applications, choosing the bottom-center position combined with moderate opacity can balance copyright identification and visual interference. This configuration scheme is suitable for website operation scenarios that require batch processing of image watermarks, providing content creators with a convenient means of copyright protection.
First, go to Dashboard -> Settings, and select Image upload
Then scroll down the page to Watermarks:
The default is disable; simply select Enable here. The Watermark user toggles option below is for choosing which users' uploaded images need watermarks. By default, all are selected, and you can choose according to your own needs.
There are 4 parameters in the image above, which I will briefly introduce.
Watermark position is the position of the watermark in the image. There are 9 positions to choose from, as follows:
You can choose according to your own preference. I chose the bottom-center position, and you can see the actual effect from my image.
Watermark percentage is the percentage of the image area occupied by the watermark. I didn't change it, and the default value is 41%.
Watermark margin is the margin from the image border to the watermark image. I found it quite suitable after adjusting it to 35.
Watermark opacity is the transparency level of the watermark, which you can set according to your preference.
