Blog Guide

1. Why it is recommended to read this explanation first?

When you first visit this site, many people might directly open the search box or randomly click on a few articles to start reading. This approach is fine, but because the content on this site has been accumulated over a long period and covers many different areas, browsing in this way will often only show you a few specific knowledge points, making it difficult to discover the organization and relationships between these contents.

As the content has grown, this blog has gradually evolved from a place to record personal practical experience into a continuously evolving knowledge system. Therefore, in addition to providing a regular way to read articles, this site also attempts to help visitors discover and understand this content from different perspectives through knowledge maps, article series, and internal article connections.

Therefore, this page is not simply an introduction to the blog's features, but rather aims to help first-time visitors choose the browsing method that best suits their reading purpose.

2 How to get started reading this blog

Different readers come here with different goals, and therefore have different entry points for reading.

2.1 My First Visit to a Blog – Starting with the "Blog Knowledge Map"

If you want to first understand what kind of content this blog mainly contains that is worth reading, then the most recommended entry point is the pinned post on the homepage.Blog Knowledge Map.

This isn't a directory of all blog posts, but rather a selection of core content I've chosen and reorganized according to my knowledge structure. Compared to browsing posts by publication date, it helps you quickly grasp the overall picture and is my top recommendation for new visitors.

2.2 Want to know what blog series are available – Browse article series

Many technical issues cannot be explained in a single article. Therefore, after accumulating knowledge on a particular topic, I usually compile the relevant content into a series.

If you want to quickly browse the current blog series, the "Browse Article Series" button on the right side of the homepage is the fastest way to access it:

After expanding, you can directly view all existing series:

Click on a specific series to access the entire topic:

Compared to searching for a single article, reading a series of articles makes it easier to understand the development of a topic.

2.3 You already know what you're looking for—use the search function.

If you already know exactly what problem you need to solve, then searching is still the most efficient way.

Most blog post titles retain the complete technical name and keywords, so you can usually quickly locate the corresponding content by simply entering the relevant keywords.

3. Reading will not end at the end of the article.

Many blogs operate by starting with an article on the homepage, reading it, and then ending the visit. But this blog aims to achieve something different:Let each article become a starting point for further exploration of the entire knowledge system.

Therefore, during the reading process and after the main text ends, you will see some additional information, each serving a different purpose.

3.1 Right-side menu

During article reading, the right-hand menu will automatically search for knowledge directions related to the current content based on the semantic features of the current article, and recommend the top 3 most relevant categories and the top 4 most relevant articles in each category:

The purpose of the right-hand menu is not to recommend so-called "popular articles," but to help you discover other knowledge directions that are semantically related to the current article, so that a single article can be connected to a larger knowledge system.

3.2 Content Structure Hints

After the main text ends, you will see Content structure promptsIt doesn't tell you what the previous or next article is, but rather it tells you:Where does this article fit within the overall knowledge system?:

Often, knowing where an article is located is more important than knowing what it is about.

3.3 Series of Article Cards

If the current article belongs to a series of articles, a "Series Article Card" will appear after the main text. This card will show the development sequence of the entire series and the current article's position within it.

“The purpose of ”Series Article Cards” is not simply to list articles in a series, but to help you understand the author’s process of gradually exploring and deepening their understanding of a certain theme.

3.4 Related Articles

At the end of the article, related articles will be recommended based on the blog's existing structure. These articles may belong to the same series, the same topic, or have other clear connections, helping you continue reading along your existing knowledge path:

These articles may not belong to the same category, but the issues they discuss are often highly related, which can help readers discover more hidden connections.

4. Other features of the blog

In addition to knowledge organization features, the blog also offers some auxiliary capabilities that can be used freely according to one's own habits.

4.1 Personalized Display Style

The default display style is designed according to my aesthetic, but it turns out that many friends have different aesthetic tastes from mine (laughs).

Therefore, the blog offers complete personalized display settings in the floating menu at the bottom right corner, allowing users to freely adjust display effects such as night mode, font, theme color, focus, card rounded corners, and filters.

If the changes are too drastic, don't worry, just click "Restore Blog Default" to return to the original style:

In addition, the blog background image uses a random wallpaper system that I built myself based on Cloudflare Worker + R2. Each refresh may show a different background, which is a rather interesting little detail in the blog.

4.2 Multilingual Support

Currently, the blog supports:

  • Simplified Chinese
  • English

You can switch languages at any time using the language switch button in the lower left corner of the page (the same applies to mobile devices):

5. About the access experience

The blog has now been fully migrated to the Cloudflare network, and no longer retains any domestic CDN or registered domain name entry points. Thanks to the caching optimizations of the Cloudflare APO, under normal network conditions (outside of sensitive periods), direct access speeds within China are generally sufficient for daily reading needs.

For a more stable access experience, you can also access this site via a VPN or similar tool. Simply add the following domains to the whitelist of the relevant tool:
