Trinitycore (TC for short), and the famous N server (Nostalrius) are both branches of the MaNGOS (commonly known as Big Mango) open source software project. TC mainly maintains the 3.3.5a WLK version and the master Legion version. There are many articles that specifically describe the origins of MaNGOS related branches, so I won’t go into detail here. Relatively speaking, the WLK version is a version that many wowers feel has reached its peak in terms of design balance and gameplay after the 60 vanilla era and the 70 Burning Crusade, so this is also the 3.3.5 version of TC that I finally chose to build the server. As for the master version, there are many bugs, and it is definitely not suitable for serious play, but it is not bad as a travel experience. My subsequent articles will record the various steps I took in the process of building the server and some subsequent problems I encountered step by step.
