Trinitycore series of graphic tutorials to change the name of the npcbot robot to a Chinese name

In the previous article, we built the server side of Trinitycore 3.3.5 (see article:Trinitycore Series World of Warcraft Trinitycore 3.3.5 (24011) version building for dummies), and added npcbot (see article:Trinitycore series 3.3.5 (24011) version adds npcbots robots), at this time you can actually start the adventure with the NPCbot (the NPCbot will maintain the same level as you, so it will not affect the leveling experience).

However, the only drawback is that these npcbots all have English names, which look awkward, so you need to change the English names of the npcbots into Chinese names yourself (for example, if you were unhappy with some World of Warcraft friends in the past, you could change the npcbot to his name and punish him to work as an unpaid worker~).

The operation is actually very simple, just follow the steps below.

1. First determine the race, occupation, and name of the NPC you want to hire

Although Trinitycore 3.3.5 can enable cross-faction trade and shared dungeons, for npcbot, it is still best to be in the same faction (you will understand why when you encounter a dungeon boss that is Alliance or Horde).

First use .npcbot lookup [profession id] to query the id, name, and race of the profession npcbot of the line, for example, 2 is a paladin, as shown below:

In the above picture, 70051-70057 are the IDs of the online Paladin npcbot. The white font is the name of the NPC, and the yellow font behind it indicates the race, such as Human is human, and Dwarf is dwarf.

.npcbot lookup example usage:
.npcbot lookup 1 (list all fighters)
.npcbot lookup 2 (list all paladins)
.npcbot lookup 3 (list all hunters)
.npcbot lookup 4 (list all stalkers)
.npcbot lookup 5 (list all priests)
.npcbot lookup 6 (lists all death knights)
.npcbot lookup 7 (list all shamans)
.npcbot lookup 8 (list all mages)
.npcbot lookup 9 (lists all warlocks)
.npcb loo 11 (lists all druids)

Race in English and Chinese:
1: Human
2. Orc
3. Dwarf
4. Night Elf
5. Undead
6. Tauren
7. Gnome
8. Troll
10. Blood Elf
11. Draenei

2. Modify the "creature_template" table under the database "world"

There are many ways to modify the database. I am used to using DBeaver. You can use it according to your own habits. You can also use phpmyadmin or command line. Here I use phpmyadmin as an example to demonstrate how to change the original English name of the human paladin with id 70051, "Sammuel", to "喵屁屁".

Finally, click the "Execute" button in the red box below.

3. Restart the server
After restarting the server, re-run the command: .npcbot lookup 2

The modification has been successful.

Note: Try to make this change before hiring an npcbot. If you want to change the name of an already hired npcbot, you need to clean up the client's cache after completing the above operation. Otherwise, you will find that no matter how you modify the database, it will not take effect. This bugged me for a long time.
