Everything has its limits, but desires are endless. It is human nature to want more after getting something. A beggar who lives from day to day wants food and clothing, a seriously ill person wants to be cured, an old man wants youth, a well-read scholar wants fame, wealth and honor, and an emperor wants immortality. In essence, all of these are desires. But people often forget their original intentions after getting something, and instead want more.
